  1. El Tarter base:this area features gentle green and blue runs. Its lower altitude and accessible terrain make it an ideal starting point for those new to skiing.
  2. Ribaescorjada: this area provides a range of slopes suitable for all skill levels, including a mix of easy and more challenging red and black runs.
  3. Tosa Dels Espiolets: situated at higher altitudes, this sector offers a variety of challenging red and black slopes, as well as some excellent off-piste opportunities.

Skiing in El Tarter

Beginners

By taking the TC10 El Tarter gondola, beginners are ushered to a specialized area where experienced instructors introduce them to the basics on the gentle green runs. The vast terrains above El Tarter, mainly above the tree line, are a delight for intermediate skiers. El Tarter offers optimal snow conditions from December through April, each month presenting unique opportunities for skiers. December and January consistently bring about 12 cm (4.72 in) and 18 cm (7.0 in) of snow respectively, dispersed across roughly 2.2 days each week, ensuring regular fresh snow. February's snowfall slight decreases with 17 cm (6.69 in) of snowfall but it occurs more frequently, averaging 2.6 days per week. The pinnacle of snowfall arrives in the fourth week of January, traditionally the snowiest week in El Tarter, with an impressive 27 cm (10.6 in) of snow over 3.0 days, making it a paradise for those who cherish Bluebird Powder Days, when sunshine and light winds follow fresh snowfall.
