Beginners: Lech offers dedicated learning zones at the edge of the town and an array of easy runs further up the mountain. However, caution is advised for near-beginners when tackling the steep blue between Oberlech and Lech. Zürs, while also having suitable beginner slopes, offers fewer progression options.
Intermediates: Intermediate skiers are spoiled for choice in the Ski Arlberg. Oberlech provides gentle cruising runs, while the terrains served by the Steinmähder chair offer more challenging slopes.
Advanced: Experts can test their mettle on the Langer Zug, a 4.7 km groomed route from Rüfikopf that maxes out at an 80 % gradient, one of the steepest prepared pistes in the world. Add in the marked but ungroomed ski routes beneath the Steinmähder chair, from Trittkopf into Zürs, and from Madloch down to Zug, and you’ve got more than enough to keep advanced legs burning.
Off-piste: Beyond the markers lie some 200 km of high-Alpine powder routes. Classic lines include the bowls below Rüfikopf, the Trittkopf to Pazieltal or Stuben descents, and the Gams run from the top of Muggengrat. Lech is also Austria’s only heli-ski base, with drops on Mehlsack (2,652 m) and Schneetäli (2,450 m). Fresh snow is fantastic here, but a qualified guide and full safety gear are essential.
Snowboarding Lech Zürs is a haven for intermediate and advanced riders, offering a myriad of slopes to explore. However, snowboarders should be prepared for occasional traverses between lifts and be wary of some tricky chairlifts.
Lech Zürs is renowned for its child-friendly ski slopes and well-equipped children's areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for budding skiers. Beyond skiing, winter in Lech Zürs transforms into a snowy playground. Children can dive into building snow castles, creating their version of snowmen, or even constructing igloos. Family-friendly activities abound: from exhilarating tobogganing, both with classic wooden sledges and the nimble mini bob, to serene horse-drawn sleigh rides blanketed in the enchanting winter landscape. For those looking to grace the ice, there are natural skating rinks in both Zürs and Lech. Parents wanting some alone time can tap into the range of professional childcare options available. This includes children's clubs in Lech, Zürs, and Oberlech, where young ones can enjoy skiing, tobogganing, or simply playing with their peers.

We booked a late minute skiing trip to Morzine through we ski. We looked at booking the trip ourselves but could get anywhere near the price quoted by we ski. The company was excellent and we had no problems at all from start to finish. I would definitely use them to book another weekend skiing trip.
Seamless experience from start to finish. I was spending ages trying to sort out a weekend break and managed to do it with we ski in minutes and for the same price as booking it all up yourself. Flight, transfer and accommodation was all as expected and faultless.
